Frontend Knight is a Chrome extension by E.B Dev & Design. It does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal or browsing data. It has no servers, no analytics and no tracking — nothing leaves your browser.
Page content, processed on your device
To do their job, the tools read the layout and content of the page you are viewing: the grid, ruler and audits inspect elements locally, and “Copy as image” and bug reports capture a screenshot of the visible tab. All of this is processed in your browser and is only copied to your clipboard or saved as a file when you ask.
A bug report includes the page URL, viewport size, browser version, the selected element’s selector and recent page errors. It is placed on your clipboard for you to paste; the extension never sends it anywhere.
Settings stored by the extension
Your tool settings and breakpoint presets are kept in Chrome’s extension storage, synced between your own browsers only if you have Chrome Sync turned on. The list of sites where you switched dark mode on, and any design image you load into the design overlay, stay on your device.
Uninstalling the extension deletes all of this stored data.
